Photography Club

At the Photography Club of Samskara Germany e.V., we believe that a photograph is not just an image. We view it as a perspective, a statement, a window into the world as someone else experiences it.

This belief stems from the conviction that photographs are rarely made by a camera — they are made with the eye, the heart, and the mind. And in a world that often tends to flatten differences, we believe that perspective matters.

As a club, we welcome photographers of all backgrounds, skill levels, and styles. Whether you are a seasoned artist or picking up a camera for the first time, you will find in our club a space that is welcoming, non-hierarchical, and genuinely collaborative. We uphold the dignity of every member and are committed to maintaining a community free from discrimination, bigotry, and exclusion. The club is rooted in our organisational values of equality, inclusivity, secularism, and the championing of progressive thought.

We aspire, through our lenses, to document the lived experiences of life in Germany. Together, we shoot, learn, reflect, and grow — be it through workshops, exhibitions, photo walks, or open critique sessions.
